Starting with the First Sunday of Advent, we will begin using the new translations. A new master slide show was created to reflect these changes. This slide show was created with Powerpoint 2010 and that has created a few formating issues for users of the older versions of Powerpoint and the users of Open Office. There has been no testing on any Apple computers at this time so there is indication of issues there yet. Please click through the slides and check for any formating issues, they may or may not carry through if you save with your system.
The new prayers are listed with the changes highlighted in RED. Please don't change that as yet.
If you are a slide show creater for OLPH or SPB, you may download the file shown below (on a pc - right click on the link and click "save target as" in the pop up menu.). If this does NOT work for you please contact Joan at music at olphcg.net via e-mail or call (the number is listed in the bulletin)
This is a master slide show. Simply open the file, save it under a new name (whatever naming convention you prefer) and make any and all changes you need. Then the Master stays intact for the next time you need it.
You will find place holder slides for your hymms and pictures. Feel free to change or delete titles as needed. Delete any slides you don't need for the week's Mass. Father should let you know what Penitential Act he is using that week, if you don't hear from him, you might need to contact him. Otherwise, leave them both in, and the slideshow minister can skip through the one you don't use.
The computer at OLPH is about to be updated to the Powerpoint Viewer released October 15, 2011. I recommend downloading and installing that item found here and checking your slide shows on it until you work out any bugs.
Remember that you can open these files with Open Office but you must save them in the Microsoft file type for the viewer to open them.
