    • Sing with the POpe

The attention of many in the media was caught when Pope Leo sang the Regina Caeli at his first Sunday address and the Pater Noster at his first Wednesday audience. Last Sunday at the 10:30am Mass, we sang the Pater Noster (Our Father) in Latin at the request of some parishioners. Feel free to let me know what you think of us continuing to do so. The Pope's singing has led to a "Let's Sing with the Pope" YouTube series which includes the Pater Noster at this link: youtu.be/7nNbnUHWgk4?si=X--ogp-Fe1J7uX9P. Why not check it out, and see if you can learn some other chants with the help of Father Robert Mehlhart OP of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music?

    • Welcome from Fr. John Boyle

Welcome! Whether you are new to the area, just visiting, or already a parishioner, let me extend my welcome to our parish church in Cottage Grove and to our mission church in Creswell.

In addition to daily Mass, Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish church is open daily for prayer. Come and spend time before the Blessed Sacrament. You can also confide your intentions to the intercession of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, writing them down and placing them in the box in front of our beautiful icon. These intentions are remembered at every Saturday morning Mass. You may also email any intentions that you would like us to place before Our Lady.

If you can, please consider supporting us with a financial contribution. It really helps.

If there is any way in which we can assist you, please do not hesitate to let me and our parish staff know.

May God bless you and Our Lady and St. Philip intercede for you.

      Fr. John Boyle
